Real Time Kinematic System For Precision Farming
AG-NAV’s Real Time Kinematic system offers you un-paralleled, consistent, and repeatable centimetre accuracy using state of the art GPS/GLONASS technology. The High Precision RTK system has single and dual frequency capabilities that allow you to have more economical choices based on the type of application that you need it for. You have your choice of:
• RTK Light
- Single Frequency
- Allows you up to 20 cm of accuracy
• RTK High Precision Light
- Single Frequency
- Allows you up to 2 cm of accuracy
• RTK High Precision
- Dual Frequency
- Allows you 2 cm of accuracy, which can improve to as high as 1 cm depending on your location.
Each system includes an RTK base station housed in a rugged aluminum casing, a rover unit, and an all terrain aluminum tripod stand. Additional rovers may be added to the system for multiple vehicle usage.
The base station itself is a lightweight, compact unit consisting of a 12 volt, internal power source. The base station can be mounted in the field, or high up on a building to ensure there is nothing obstructing it’s path. Regardless of where you put it, the base station is tough enough to withstand mother nature’s harshest conditions.
