The AG-STEER is an Automatic Hydraulic Steering system that allows you to focus on the more important aspects of your operation by giving you unparalleled automated guidance with the touch of a button. No matter what terrain and how big your field is, you’ll never have to worry about operator inexperience or fatigue. The Guia Terra, the vehicle operator will be able to perform his/her duties with just 5 minutes of practice or less!
This Auto Steer system allows you to achieve centimetre accuracy year round with AG-NAV’s RTK network. The system features automatic calibration at the start of each drive to ensure that you will get the accuracy you require. Each step of your operation is simplified by using AG-NAV’s precision farming technology. The Auto Steer package comes equipped with a set of steering sensors that measure wheel angle information, useful on any terrain. These sensors use AG-NAV steering technology to constantly update the required information to the AG-Controller for processing.
The Hydraulic Controller receives the instructions from the Electronic Processor, and takes over the vehicle once the auto steer command is given. The Electronic Processor is essentially the brains of the operation, sending and receiving data at a fraction of a second. The Electronic Processor uses the GPS information from the Guia Terra to make sure your vehicle stays on track from start to finish.
