Aerial Photography - PhotoNav

The Photo-Nav system is designed to accurately guide the pilot to fly the preplanned flight lines and at the same time trigger the camera when the aircraft is closest to a camera point. This system provides you all utilities to do necessary things from flight planning to data handling. The camera points can be generated automatically on the flight lines by the GPS Navigation system based on the predefined distance between points, or manually anywhere by the user. Up to 3,000 camera points can be set up for each survey area.

The GPS Navigation system consists of the Guia console with color LCD Moving Map Display, a keyboard, and a remote two line Pilot Indicator cross-track display. The Guia Console provides data recording, processing and storing. A compact keyboard is provided for pre-flight preparations, editing and data file transfer.

The Pilot Indicator or Lightbar provides all valuable guidance and track information and can be also placed anywhere in the cockpit for pilot’s best view.
