The FireNav is a revolutionary navigation package developed to apply GPS technology to enhance the attack on forest fires. Using accurate GPS data, coupled with state-of the-art software, the FireNav is the ideal GPS Navigation system for aircrafts involved in firefighting.

Besides being given real-time guidance to the target, the pilot is given a countdown time indication to get him ready to drop the retardant/water at the desired location. The user-friendly FireNav software allows the aircraft to mark a target line, which can be seen by all other aircraft within the radio modem range. The software and hardware combination allows for other safety features, some examples being aircraft proximity within a predetermined distance, warning for aircraft proximity and view of other aircraft in real-time.

The FireNav lets you record all the data and navigation information for post-analysis. The data can be used for training personnel; therefore, preventing mistakes that have or could happen while in a mission.

FireNav DGPS technology improves application time, accuracy and safety by using state-of-the-art software. This also allows for the software to be used with other systems such as a laptop computer.
