ROB POOLE RACING UPDATE

As another summer closes, we take a look at how Rob Poole and the 45 car have done this season at the races.

June 29^th was a wash out due to rain so it wasn’t until July 14^th that the 45 card was able to race.  After a Meet and Greet for Fan Appreciation Night, Rob went on to a 5 place showing in spite of the front flat tire in an earlier caution.

On July 17^th the 45 took second spot in a heat run finishing the night in the top 5.  July 24^th proved a difficult night with a car spin on the 6^th lap ending with a 5^th place showing.  Rob Poole celebrated a victorious night on July 31^st, when he collected his 2^nd feature victory.  This is the first time that the team has earned a second victory in one year in the Limited Late Model class.

August 7^th was another Fan Appreciation Night.  The 45 unfortunately earned a 6^th place spot having fallen back from 4^th place in the final laps.  The rain on August 14^th began to fall just as the Limited Late Models finished their race.  The night for the 45 ended with a 5^th place finish.  August 28^th, proved to be a good night of racing.  Rob Poole brought home a heat win and followed with a top 3 finish in the feature.

September 5^th brought a 10 spot for the 45 car after the car took contact from another racer, bringing them to the rear for the re-start.  The final Fan Appreciation Night was held on September 16^th, earning Rob Poole a 6^th place spot.  

The racing season for the Limited Late Model class ended on September 20^th with a 8^th spot for the 45 car.  The points race was close enough that Rob Poole and the 45 car ended the season in 3^rd place.
