Lightbar Guidance For GPS Navigation

You have a choice of four Steering Indicators when you purchase your AG-NAV product. Each indicator is made to suit your needs when on the job. Each Indicator allows the user to display his/her preferred information from the Guia monitor. Depending on the type of Indicator, the pilot can view multiple sets of data in the form of LEDs. The Indicators available are:

Large Brightbar: Is a sealed unit designed for mounting on the nose of the aircraft just below the pilot’s line of sight where it can be easily seen in his peripheral vision without having to refocus the eyes. The display is 13.5" x 6" (35 x 15 cm) and consists of a total of 159 super-extra-bright LEDs. The red and green steering bars indicate the direction to steer to the target swath: cross-track or angle-of-intercept, or both.

Small Brightbar: Has all the features of the large brightbar, but it has been designed for mounting inside the cockpit. The display is 9.40" x 2.65" (27 x 6.8 cm). The steering indication is easily adjustable to the user’s requirements.

Pilot Indicator: The Pilot Indicator is a small unit with an LCD display area of 6” x 0.5” (15.3 cm x 1.5 cm). It is suitable for mounting inside the aircraft for backup to other lightbars, or for primary guidance where space is limited as in a short nosed aircraft such as the Aztec and the DC3, or in helicopters.

Compact Smartbar: Is suitable for mounting inside the aircraft cockpit. It has a display area of 7.25” x 1.125” (18 cm x 3.25 cm), it is ideal for helicopters or short nosed aircraft. The Smart bar has a graphics display of 400 ultrabright LEDs.
