Software Developer
AG-NAV Inc. is a leading provider of airborne real time navigation equipment specializing in the Agricultural, Forest and Mosquito Control industries. The Company’s history includes 25 years of experience and understanding of GPS and how to apply this technology to day-to-day problems associated with Navigation and use.
We are seeking a Software Developer to be responsible for the development of software and products in the Navigation and Aircraft/Vehicle Tracking applications area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full involvement in software development to run under customized Linux
- Participate in systems design for Navigation products
- Participate in systems design for Aircraft/Vehicle Tracking product
- Perform software designing, prototyping and coding
Qualifications:
- Experience in embedded real-time C/C++ software
- Experience in web-based and client-server application development
- Experience in OOP with real-time data communications, RS232, USB, LPT, Can Bus
- Knowledge of satellite communications, GSM/GPRS, radio modem, aircraft/vehicle tracking technologies
- Knowledge of programming in Linux
- Experience in hardware/software integration
- Experience in Pascal and Delphi is an asset

- Experience with digital/analog/RF circuit design
- Experience with system design for navigation/geophysical systems is an asset
